Nutrifriz Web Application
Built the complete Nutrifriz storefront — a premium consumer-facing web application for freeze-dried African fruit. The site combines a full commerce experience (shop, product detail, collections, build-your-mix, cart, checkout) with brand storytelling, journal content, and a customer account area, all designed around the Nutrifriz identity of freshness and preservation.

The process
Problems we hit, and how we solved them
Challenge
Designing a consumer brand experience that feels premium while staying fast and mobile-first — the storefront carries a full cart, checkout flow, and account area without sacrificing the visual quality
Solution
Designed the entire storefront around the Nutrifriz brand palette (#3B7734 forest green, #FA9C10 amber) with Fraunces for display and Inter for body text, and the Tabler icon set everywhere — zero emojis in the interface
Challenge
Building a Build Your Mix builder that enforces business rules in real time — customers can't overfill a pack, can't pick more fruits than the max, and always pay the correct price for the pack they've chosen
Solution
Built the Build Your Mix as a 4-step wizard (pack → fruits → name → review) with a live grammar counter, per-fruit gram stepper, and rules enforced both client-side and server-side so the mix can never exceed the pack size
Challenge
Integrating Flutterwave into the checkout with a smooth redirect flow, customer-required accounts, saved addresses, and reliable order verification
Solution
Added quick-view modals for products and collections — a shopper can preview pack sizes, view the composition of a collection, and add to cart without leaving the page
Challenge
Keeping the storefront and admin in sync through the same backend — a product created in the admin has to appear correctly on the storefront within seconds, with images, pricing, and availability all accurate
Solution
Implemented full account pages — orders list, order detail with mix composition, saved addresses, and Crunch Passport for the card collection

Solution
Built a rich journal with dynamic categories, TipTap-authored articles, and proper typography — every article reads like a piece of editorial content, not a blog post

Solution
Integrated Flutterwave hosted checkout with a post-payment verification page, order confirmation emails, and a clear fallback flow when payment fails

Solution
Required account creation before checkout — every order links to a registered user for order history, loyalty points, and support
Outcome
The results
Delivered a complete, production-ready storefront covering discovery, purchase, delivery, and post-purchase retention in one application
Created a brand experience that competes visually with international premium snack brands while staying true to an African food company
Enabled customers to build, save, and reorder custom mixes, view order history with detailed composition, and manage their Crunch Cards in a single account area
Established a scalable front-end foundation for subscriptions, referrals, and additional product lines without UI rework
